Optimal Setting Adjustment
for Internet Explorer 6
- Go to "Tools" and select "Internet Options..."
- Under General tab, Click on "Fonts" button
Select Japanese for "Language script:"
- Select a Japanese font for "Web page font" [e.g. UWJMG3 (SJIS), UWJGOT (SJIS), MS Mincho, or MS Gothic]
- Select a Japanese font for "Plain text font" if available and click on "OK" to close Fonts window, then click on "Apply" and "OK" to close Internet Options window
- Go to "View" and select "Encoding," and click on "Japanese (Auto-select)"
KanjiKit 2000 Setting Adjustment
- Click on KanjiKit icon in the system tray (where the clock is located), and select Tools from the menu
- Add a check mark on "Output JIS code in Shift JIS or EUC mode"
- Click "OK" to close the dialog box
