Using KanjiKit 2000 with Word 97 KanjiKit 2000 will automatically support Unicode with Word 97 so you will not need to manually select a Japanese font. However, if you want to use the DBCS Code fonts, you must remove the check mark next to Enable Unicode Input from the Tools menu in KanjiKit, restart Word 97 and manually select a DBCS Code font from the top of Word's font menu list. In order for Word to support Japanese, you must change a number of options.
