Settings for other Office 2000 Applications
Include Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher and FrontPage
Excel
- No critical setting adjustments are necessary in Excel
- KanjiKit 2000's settings should be as followed:
- From KanjiKit main menu, make sure that "SJIS" is checked
- From "Tools", Make sure that "Enable Unicode input" option is checked
- From "Tools," Make sure that "Output JIS code in Shift JIS or EUC mode" is NOT checked
is displayed on the left button of KanjiKit tool bar
PowerPoint
- From "Tools" menu, select "Options..."
- Click "Edit" tab, then turn off "Replace straight quotes with smart quotes" option
- Click "Spelling and style" tab, then turn off "Check spelling as you type" option
- KanjiKit 2000's settings should be as followed:
- From KanjiKit main menu, make sure that "SJIS" is checked

Publisher
- From "Tools" menu, select "AutoCorrect."
- Click "AutoFormat as you type" tab
- Turn off '"Straight Quotes" with "Smart Quotes"' option
